To me hey there Delilah is a sad song but I enjoy the lyrics, and I saw someone´s fan-made parody of the song where they made it fit with the Voltron legendary defender show where it´s like Lance is singing to Keith about how much he misses him and how he thinks something is off at the Garrison and Keith knew that and that is why they kicked him out and for me hearing that parody it made me think maybe they are hiding something. In the chorus, Rod directly interpolates the first verse from Plain White T's's 2006 single " Hey There Delilah", except he changes "Hey there Delilah" to "Hey there everybody".
